What equipment do I need?

We operate an equipment rental scheme that costs €60.00 per year. This includes everything except inline roller blades.

How much does it cost?
  • Membership per year is €360 per child.
  • This includes one inline training session on Saturdays or 2 ice hockey training sessions depending on the time of year.
  • Additional inline training sessions are available for €5 per session.
  • Equipment can be rented for €60 per year.
Do I have to be a member of the club?

To play with the Flying Ducks, you need to be a member of the Irish Ice Hockey Association (IIHA) and/or Inline Hockey Ireland and the Flying Ducks Ice Hockey Club. You can find out how to do this here.

I have never played Inline Hockey before. Can I attend a trial training session before registering for the full season?

Yes, this is possible.

What is the minimum age?

5 years

Do you have a senior beginners group?

Unfortunately not at the moment.

How long is the practice session?

We have multiple groups practising during the time. The groups are based on players skills. The coaches will assign you to a specific group. Each group practises for one hour.
