After a heavy loss before the Christmas break, the Flying Ducks Senior Team needed to re-group to face current championship leaders, the Latvian Hawks.
The game started promisingly with new signing Tom Beeksma scoring his first goal in his first game for the Flying Ducks. As the game went on, the Latvian Hawks showed why they are currently topping the table scoring four unanswered goals. The Flying Ducks attack were denied any chance of scoring, by the Latvian Hawks Goalie.
Sarah Barrett was voted Flying Ducks Player of the game. Congratulations to Sarah!
The Flying Ducks stay third in the table with two points.
The next chance to climb up in the table is next Saturday, 16th of January, when the Flying Ducks take on the Celtic Clovers Green Team.
